By Monday they had already booked somebody else. Work out what that costs you in a year, then text the system that would have answered them.
Five inputs. Use last week's real numbers if you have them, a fair guess if you don't. The first figure is straight arithmetic, not a claim.
Based on the numbers on the left.
The system runs $997 a month. Here is what it has to save you to break even.
Nobody ever replied. leads x never-replied % x close rate x job value. Every one of these got zero response, so the whole thing is lost. That is arithmetic, and you can check it against your own call log.
Replied, but hours late. answered leads x close rate x speed lift. This one is an estimate. Answering in seconds instead of hours lifts close rate, but by how much depends on your trade and your market, so it is set conservatively and you can move it.
Pick your trade and text it like a customer would at 9pm. Be difficult. Ask a price it should not know. Ask for a human. Try it in Spanish. It is running the same rules a real install runs.
Here is the entire setup, including the parts that go wrong. No teaser version. If you have someone technical, this is genuinely enough to work from.
Business texting in the US runs through A2P 10DLC registration. Until you pass it, your messages get filtered and you will not be told. Register the brand, then the campaign, then attach the number.
The same person calls, then texts, then messages you on Facebook. If those land as three records, the agent re-asks what it already knows and reads as a bot in the first ten seconds. Merge on phone number, and keep the conversation identity separate from the contact record so a merge does not orphan the history.
Service area, hours, service call fee, what the fee applies to, financing, warranty terms, what you do not do. Every specific the agent is allowed to state. Everything outside the list gets an honest answer that moves the job forward, never a guess and never a promise to check and get back.
Ours is three things: a real safety hazard, someone demanding money back or threatening a chargeback, a lawyer or a review, and anyone who directly asks for a person. Everything else the agent handles. Swearing is not an escalation. Frustration is not an escalation. A customer who is annoyed but still wants help wants help.
Forty or more real conversations, replayed against the agent every single time you change a word of the instructions. Rude customer. Wrong appliance named. Price you do not have. Same question asked twice. Every language you serve.
The agent writes every reply, a person approves it before it sends, on a short timer that auto-sends if nobody objects. You get the speed immediately and you watch every word for a month. After thirty days of clean drafts, take the hands off.
Most owners read this and call us instead, which is fine and is honestly why we published it. If you would rather build it, you now have everything we would have started from. Either way you are better off than you were before you ran the calculator.
Week one it works your dead list and pays for its own setup. Week two it owns every conversation coming in. $1,500 to install, $997 a month. If it is not answering to your standard in fourteen days, we refund the install and walk.
